Here at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church we believe that God's grace works through each and every one of us, and that together, we are better able to be the community Christ has called us to be.

SSUMC is a place where friends and family gather together and explore the many ways in which God has been moving in our lives.  By joining together each week, we have the opportunity to encourage each other, grow in our faith, and transform our community through the love of Jesus.

Children's Ministry

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."

We work constantly to find new ways to make the love of Jesus Christ real to the children of our community! Besides our weekly activities listed below, throughout the year, we have fun special events, like the annual Easter Egg hunt and "Trunk or Treat" our annual celebration of Halloween.

Jr/Sr High Youth

The youth of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church are alive and active in the church and the community around them. The Junior High Youth Fellowship includes young people in grades 6-8, and the Senior High Fellowship is for grades 9 -12. Although we may use the term "Youth Programs" to identify weekly events, we believe that it's not simply about a "program," but about people.

We hope that you will experience a genuinely warm welcome and the love of Jesus Christ here among the youth and church family of Sulphur Springs UMC.

Adult Small Groups

Adult Small Groups are designed to help us form a relationship with God while building friendships with one another. Being a part of a Small Bible Study Group is a great way to help you feel more connected to one another. Whether you are reading through a particular book study together or focusing on a portion of scripture, we know that being a part of a Small Group will not only help you to grow spiritually, but enhance your personal relationships as well.  Much can be learned not only from the reading and study of scripture, but also from each other as we express our thoughts, our questions and our experiences of life with Christ
